The Freya interior is designed for a young married couple with an elegant and delicate approach to the design of this space. The affinity for the so-called "Japandi" (Japanese + Scandinavian) style is clearly visible, which is a very popular choice among young people.
This style is characterised by its light tones combined with wood textures. The light tones have different textures, adding a "new dimension" and depth to the space.
SPATIAL ORGANIZATION
The apartment has six rooms: a living room with a kitchen and dining area, an entrance hallway, a bathroom, a bedroom, and two smaller rooms. We separated the kitchen with a bar, while a small library perfectly fit into the niche by the window in the dining room, creating a relaxation space. On the opposite side of the dining room, a wine rack serves as a mini bar.
SHAPES, MATERIALS, TEXTURES
The shapes in this interior are predominantly straight and simple, with the addition of some rounded elements like the small tables in the living room and the chandeliers. There are two chipboard textures: glossy white and oak wood. The walls are white, except for the wall in the living room, which is finished with a wall technique that imitates concrete. The space is enriched by the addition of vertical wooden slats, and plants, along with a gentle green color that accentuates certain areas and adds freshness. The draperies are in light gray to frame the openings in the space.
LIGTHING
The space is well-lit from multiple sides, which contributes to the quality of living. Natural light highlights the different textures and creates a warmer and more pleasant ambiance.
