The interior design for the Aurora house’s lower floor derives its name from the aura exuded by its owners—two sophisticated, elegant, yet simple individuals. Their goal was to renovate and refresh their space in a way that reflects their lifestyle and habits, creating a warm and cozy retreat.

Our first task was to create an opening in the wall between the living room and the dining area. While this was a straightforward design decision for us, it proved challenging for the construction team due to the wall's load-bearing function and thickness. However, the result was a success! The opening became a "portal" library, framing the couple's deep love for books.
The living room features soft, neutral tones, light wood textures, and a refreshing accent of mint green. The focal wall for the TV includes decorative shelves that also serve as additional space for books. The kitchen is linear and compact, emphasizing functionality. A key highlight of this space is the natural light, pouring in from both sides.

The bedroom is dressed in light blue and soft cream tones, with a vanity table and shelving in one corner. Natural light also graces this room from two sides, softened by delicate white curtains.
The bathroom stands out as the most dramatic space in the home, with contrasting tones and a variety of textures.
All utility functions are neatly tucked away in a utility room, where the boiler is housed, ensuring that the elegance of the bathroom remains undisturbed. This room also contains the washing machine, dryer, laundry basket, cleaning supply cupboards, a pull-out ironing board, and the stove, which serves as the primary heating source for the home.
